Leroy Cummings
Steward emeritus
The Steward Ministry is a vital and sacred component of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Called to serve with humility, compassion, and faithfulness, stewards work closely with the pastor to nurture the spiritual and practical life of the congregation. They are entrusted with supporting the ministry of the church by encouraging Christian discipleship, promoting faithful stewardship, assisting in the administration of the sacraments, and caring for the needs of the church family.
Our dedicated body of stewards serves with integrity, wisdom, and a servant's heart. Whether welcoming new members, visiting the sick and shut-in, encouraging faithful giving, or assisting the pastor in carrying out the work of the church, they exemplify Christ-like service in every aspect of their ministry. Their commitment reflects a genuine desire to strengthen the body of Christ and advance God's Kingdom.
